Bristol Ultimate Development (BUD) is the ideal way to get involved in the sport of ultimate frisbee.
Led by a committee with years of coaching experience, the team is beginner-focused and open to anyone wanting to try the sport.
BUD aims to provide a pathway for brand new players to learn more about ultimate and eventually progress into more competitive teams—if they want to.
More experienced players looking for social and recreational sessions are welcome too!
From September to March, we play indoors twice a week at Orchard School. Indoor sessions are just £3 an hour. Join the Facebook group or email us for more info.
Over the summer, we play free outdoors on the downs (just northwest of the water tower and The Downs Café) on Wednesday evenings from 6:00pm (it’s fine to turn up late!) as well as running regular weekend sessions.
A poll goes up on the Facebook group before each session to gauge attendance, so please vote if you can make it.
Bring football boots (outdoors only!) or trainers, water, a white top, and a black one. We’ll provide the discs, cones, instruction, and fun!
