Bristol Ultimate Development (BUD) is the ideal way to get involved in the sport of Ultimate Frisbee.

Led by a committee with years of coaching experience, the team is beginner-focused and open to anyone wanting to try the sport.

BUD aims to provide a pathway for brand new players to learn more about Ultimate and eventually progress into more competitive teams — if they want to.

More experienced players looking for social and recreational sessions are welcome too!

From September to March, we play indoors twice a week. These sessions are held at Shine Sports Hall in Henleaze on Tuesday and Friday evenings and are just £4 an hour. Join the Facebook group or email us for more info (links below).

Over the summer, we play outdoors on Tuesday evenings from 6:00pm (it’s fine to turn up late!) and on Sundays from 2PM. These are both held on the Downs (just northwest of the water tower and The Downs Café).

The Facebook group has all the latest information, including a signup poll for each session to help us plan for numbers. Please vote if you can make it!

Bring football boots (outdoors only!) or trainers, water, a white top, and a black one. We’ll provide the discs, cones, instruction, and fun!
